back to introduce you with one of the best Thai Chicken dish that you must know
if you are a true chicken lover.
THAI BASIL CHICKEN:
Like everything else on this blog, here’s another mouth-watering
Thai chicken recipe that can be prepared within 15 minutes.
There are many ways that you can prepare this recipe- pieces
of chicken (use chicken thighs because thighs are juicier than breasts) or stir
fried with rice for Thai basil chicken fried rice.
Thai Basil is a variety of Basil with little aniseed flavor. For
this you will need soy sauce, fish sauce and oyster sauce. Fish
sauce gives its traditional flavouring of Thai food. This is generally served
with steamed rice.
INGRIDIENTS:
2 Tablespoon Oil
2 Tablespoon minced Garlic
2-3 Thai Red Chillies, thinly sliced
½ cup finely chopped onions
Ground chicken
2 tablespoon dark soy sauce
1 tablespoon Fish Sauce
3 tablespoon Oyster Sauce
1 teaspoon Sugar
1 cup loosely packed Thai Basil
1.Heat vegetable oil and add small amount of chopped garlic
and Thai chilli. Stir fry for a minute add onions.
2.Add chicken and fry it for 6-7 minutes till its cooked and a
light golden brown.
3.Add fish sauce, oyster sauce respectively. Stir fry
for another 2 minutes till sauces mixed well with chicken and changes its
colour.
4.Roughly break basil leaves and add to the pan. Stir well and
serve with steamed rice.
